Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital sign monitoring, ECG, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and patient documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure sterilization of equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical protocols
