Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, injections, and EKG procedures
- Assist providers with examinations and minor surgical procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling and billing coding
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Kansas state medical assistant license
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
