Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories accurately
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures, including wound care, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) from accredited program
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical protocols
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
