Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Administer medications and vaccines following established protocols
- Perform vital signs measurements and basic EKGs
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain clean, organized exam rooms
- Handle insurance verification and basic billing documentation
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current CMA or RMA certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or equivalent
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Valid Washington state medical assistant credential
