Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including EKGs, phlebotomy, and vital sign monitoring
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with diagnostic procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Facilitate smooth patient flow and reduce wait times
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or equivalent
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
