Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Perform clinical tasks including ECG, phlebotomy, and vital sign monitoring
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care workflows efficiently
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification and current immunization records
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical protocols
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings
- Arizona state MA license or eligibility
