Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures, including patient exams, injections, and ECGs
- Perform vital sign assessments and prepare patients for examinations
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain efficient clinic operations
- Administer medications under physician supervision and monitor patient responses
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and examination rooms
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification and state medical assistant credentials
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical terminology
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic environment
- Attention to detail in documentation and inventory management
