Responsibilities

  • Perform patient intake and vitals collection accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist providers during examinations and procedures, preparing instruments and medications as directed.
  • Prepare and administer medications as per physician orders and state regulations.
  • Draw blood and perform basic laboratory tests (phlebotomy).
  • Maintain and update patient medical records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Ensure exam rooms are cleaned, stocked, and sanitized according to infection control protocols.
  • Answer patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) preferred.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
