Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, accurate vital signs, and comprehensive medical histories.
- Assist providers during examinations and clinical procedures with precision and care.
- Manage patient appointments, referrals, and electronic health records (EHR) efficiently.
- Prepare and administer injections or medications as directed by providers.
- Coordinate lab specimens and diagnostic testing processes.
- Provide patient education and health coaching to promote wellness.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong computer literacy and experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all backgrounds.
