Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vital signs measurements accurately.
- Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and procedures.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain patient charts.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Handle administrative duties including scheduling appointments and processing insurance forms.
- Provide compassionate patient education and support.
- Follow strict infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety.
- High school diploma or GED required.
