Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures including injections, wound care, and EKGs
- Prepare patients for examinations and vital sign measurements
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with 100% accuracy
- Administer medications and perform point-of-care testing
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain exam room efficiency
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital/ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Associate's degree in Medical Assisting or related field
