Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical protocols.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and the wider care team to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and documentation of patient progress.
- Provide compassionate education to patients and their families regarding disease management and home care.
- Ensure a sterile, safe, and organized clinical environment at all times.
- Respond immediately and effectively to emergent medical situations.
Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and rotating shifts.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
