Job Summary: As a Night Shift CNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients during their recovery. You will work closely with the nursing staff to provide high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse) and report any abnormalities to the RN or Physician.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and pressure sores.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Document all care activities and patient observations accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current Georgia CNA certification (required).
- Valid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude.
