Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical visits.
- Perform and document vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests accurately.
- Manage patient intake, including updating electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer medications and injections under the supervision of a licensed provider.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and handle insurance verification processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical setting.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
- Must be willing to work in a fast-paced Boston healthcare facility.
