Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Measure and record vital signs, height, weight, and blood pressure accurately.
- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, EKGs, and point-of-care testing as directed.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential medical records and patient charts.
- Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations, including check-in/check-out processes.
- Provide patient education on medications, diet, and preventative care.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous clinical experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
