Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Perform vital signs and EKG screenings
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Electronic health record (EHR) documentation and data entry
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- 1+ years clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Valid California driver's license
