Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, medical history reviews, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during medical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate medical records and ensure full HIPAA compliance.
- Administer medications and perform basic lab tests as directed by the provider.
- Manage front desk reception duties, including scheduling appointments and handling insurance verification.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate degree in Medical Assisting required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred but not mandatory for top candidates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
