Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor surgical procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean, safe environment.
- Manage patient intake, scheduling, and insurance verification efficiently.
- Administer injections and medications as directed by providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Current BLS and CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a physician office or clinic setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if required.
