Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone triage assessments for patients of all ages
- Provide clinical guidance and health education to callers
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to prioritize patient needs
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Manage patient flow and escalate critical cases appropriately
- Support emergency protocols and crisis intervention
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Maryland (required)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently in high-stress situations
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
