Responsibilities
- Perform basic clinical duties including taking vital signs, recording medical history, and preparing patients for examination.
- Assist physicians and nurses during medical procedures and examinations.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage patient records and administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating medical charts, and processing insurance information.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment in examination rooms and procedure areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns with empathy.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certificate or Diploma in Medical Assisting, Nursing Assistant, or related field preferred for entry-level roles.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus but we provide training.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is highly desirable.
