Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough virtual patient assessments via telehealth platforms to determine medical urgency
- Provide accurate clinical guidance and direct patients to appropriate care settings (ER, urgent care, primary care)
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with precise documentation of patient interactions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across continuum
- Handle emergency situations with calm professionalism following established protocols
- Educate patients on home care management and preventive health measures
- Monitor patient conditions post-triage for follow-up care coordination
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada with unrestricted status
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in emergency/urgent care or triage setting
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with telehealth technologies (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell) and EHR systems
- Strong communication skills with ability to de-escalate anxious patients remotely
- Ability to work independently in a home office environment
- Experience with chronic disease management preferred
