Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process efficiently.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight) accurately.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical instruments and supplies.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws (training provided), and handle specimen collection.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding follow-up appointments and health instructions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be a self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy is preferred.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends.
