As a Medical Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they receive the best care from the moment they walk through our doors. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training, so no prior medical experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Patient Intake: Register new patients, verify insurance information, and update medical records accurately.
- Vital Signs: Measure and record patient blood pressure, weight, temperature, pulse, and oxygen levels.
- Clinical Support: Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist providers with patient exams.
- Procedures: Perform basic procedures such as blood draws (phlebotomy) and EKGs under supervision.
- Lab Work: Collect and process laboratory specimens according to strict safety protocols.
- Administrative: Handle phone calls, schedule appointments, and process payments.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Entry Level welcome; Medical Assistant certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain medical procedures clearly.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn EMR software.
- License: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
