Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring sterilization and equipment readiness
- Accurately document patient information and medical records
- Perform basic clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow efficiently
- Administer immunizations and injections under provider supervision
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding care instructions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to complete company-provided training program
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Pass background check and drug screening
