Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, including medical history collection and vital signs.
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment to ensure safety standards.
- Administer basic medications and perform phlebotomy (blood draws) under strict supervision.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage incoming calls.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking of medical supplies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Willingness to learn and obtain certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) within 6 months.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills.
- CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
