Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain efficient clinic workflow
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate referrals and communicate with specialty practices
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Washington State MA certification and phlebotomy experience
