Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and injections under supervision
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and vital sign measurements
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate referrals and lab tests
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in night shifts
- Texas state license (or Illinois for IL positions)
