Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatment protocols
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, medical equipment, and supplies
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Electronic health records (EHR) management and documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification (current)
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
