Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits.
- Administer medications and vaccinations under the supervision of a nurse or physician.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests.
- Manage patient records and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
- Coordinate patient schedules and handle front-desk reception duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and varying shift patterns.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EHR software.
- Experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting is a plus.
