Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and EKG procedures
- Assist providers with examinations, injections, and specimen collection
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and electronic health records (EHR)
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory
- Provide patient education on medications and treatment plans
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up communications
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Flexible availability to work day/evening/weekend shifts
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Basic phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Valid CPR certification
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality
