Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to strict protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, post-procedure care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare staff to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
