Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Administer injections, medications, and perform ECGs
- Manage patient records using Epic EHR systems
- Collect and process lab specimens with strict protocols
- Coordinate patient education on treatment plans
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Texas state MA license or eligible for immediate issuance
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in venipuncture and phlebotomy techniques
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
