Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and personal hygiene needs.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with nurses and medical staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond to patient emergencies and administer basic first aid when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in North Carolina or Florida.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as required by the job description.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various facilities.
