Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and injections
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient flow and exam room preparation
- Electronic health record documentation and maintenance
- Sterilize equipment and maintain inventory control
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate referrals and lab testing procedures
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Pass background check and drug screening
