Responsibilities

  • Measure and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with examination attire and positioning.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed physicians and nurse practitioners.
  • Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and examination rooms to ensure infection control standards are met.
