Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to provide exceptional patient care. You will work closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate) and record accurate data in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and manage inventory of medical supplies.
- Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform basic laboratory tests as directed by a provider.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and schedule follow-up appointments efficiently.
- Handle patient inquiries with professionalism and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a physician office or clinic setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
