Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vitals, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) remotely and in-person
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient confidentiality
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (evenings/weekends)
- Remote work capability for administrative tasks
- Spanish bilingual preferred
