Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Administer medications and injections per protocol
- Maintain accurate patient electronic health records
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/MA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- CA state phlebotomy certification a plus
- Ability to work flexible shifts
