Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, reporting changes immediately to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and medical records.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, disease management, and health promotion.
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment, adhering to all hospital safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting.
