Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, including vital signs assessment and medical history documentation
- Assist providers during clinical procedures, including sterile technique and instrument preparation
- Perform point-of-care testing and phlebotomy with precision and patient safety
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize clinic efficiency through appointment management
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required
