Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, including vital sign measurement and medical history documentation
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and sanitized
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule efficiently to minimize wait times
- Administer injections and medications under physician supervision
- Handle laboratory specimen collection and processing protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current MA certification from accredited program (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- BLS/CPR certification (required) and ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory or hospital setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competence
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation
