As a Medical Assistant, you will be the face of our clinic, ensuring every patient feels welcomed and cared for.
Responsibilities
- Patient Intake: Greet patients warmly, verify insurance details, and accurately record vital signs.
- Clinical Support: Prepare examination rooms, assist physicians during procedures, and perform basic lab draws.
- Administrative Management: Schedule appointments, manage patient records in the EHR system, and handle correspondence.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of patient confidentiality.
- Operational Support: Assist with inventory management and ensure clinic readiness.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must hold a current CMA, RMA, or MA certification.
- Licensure: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
