Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history documentation accurately.
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures in a sterile environment.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by the physician.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems efficiently.
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized according to infection control protocols.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage incoming communications.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong computer proficiency with EMR/EHR experience (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
