Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams, cleanings, and restorative work
- Manage sterilization and infection control protocols
- Take dental X-rays and process radiographs
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charts
- Order inventory and manage supply chain logistics
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant license required
- CDA or RDA certification preferred
- 1+ years clinical dental assisting experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance
- Excellent chairside demeanor and communication skills
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- X-ray certification (DANB/RHS)
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional Saturdays
