Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate vital signs and EKGs on patients of all ages.
  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments in a timely manner.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including obtaining medical histories and explaining processes.
  • Manage patient flow efficiently to ensure optimal clinic operations.
  • Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and examination rooms according to infection control protocols.
  • Accurately document patient interactions and clinical findings in Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
  • High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary medical training preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and colleagues.
