Responsibilities
- Delicate personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Accurate vital sign monitoring and documentation
- Medication administration under RN supervision
- Mobility support and safe transfer techniques
- Comprehensive meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Emotional companionship and activity engagement
- Strict adherence to HIPAA and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Kansas CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year geriatric care experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
