Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures
- Accurately document electronic health records and vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory tests
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Coordinate patient flow during overnight shifts
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital setting
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy skills and ECG interpretation
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
