Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs assessment and patient intake documentation
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain sterile exam environments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Handle lab specimen collection and basic lab testing
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced settings
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
- Ability to work independently during night hours
- Valid DC healthcare provider license
- Phlebotomy and EKG certification a plus
