Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessments and vital sign monitoring for overnight patients
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and diagnostic tests
- Administer medications and treatments under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure seamless care transitions
- Handle emergency response protocols during overnight hours
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventative care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/Meditech)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced night environment
- Valid California MA license and TB clearance
