Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, using mobility aids safely and effectively.
- Document patient care activities, changes in condition, and medication administration accurately.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and patients' families.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and medical emergencies.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
